"The uniqueness of this project is that citizens will not be charged any fee for undertaking any transaction at the kiosks," Sudhir Rao, managing director, Bartronics

Bartronics India Ltd has installed the first of 2,000 government-to-citizen (G2C) kiosks that have been planned for the Capital ahead of the Commonwealth Games in October. The solar-powered kiosks house two computers connected to a central data server and the Internet, and they offer services from government agencies such as tourism departments, the Railways, the Delhi government, and the Delhi Development Authority.

In a media statement, Bartronics managing director Sudhir Rao said, "The uniqueness of this project is that citizens will not be charged any fee for undertaking any transaction at the kiosks."
