Ghaziabad On Fast Track, Authority Proposes A Huge Metro Network To Push Satellite Town Into Future

Heartening to read that GDA is working on Phase 4 of Metro in Ghaziabad. GDA is getting such news published every month in order to have more prospective buyers to invest in Ghaziabad so that GDA earn more from sale & registry of land.

As per the DMRC, GDA has not make any payment to Delhi Metro even for Phase 1 to be constructed from Anand Vihar to Vaishali. They were supposed to make a payment of Rs.130 crores to DMRC in November 2007 but so far no payment has been made. It would be great if GDA make payment of first installment to DMRC before Feb. 2008 so that work can start on phase 1 March.

There is no logic in talking about talking about Metro Phase 2, 3, 4 and elevated corridor in Ghaziabad when nothing has been done for Metro Phase 1.

When GDA is not willing to shell out Rs.260 Crores than how it can make arrangements for Rs. 4410 Crores project for elevated corridor?

Any way Noida and Gurgaon is going to have Metro in June 2009.
