A LOT LEFT
A senior NHAI official said the entire 27.7 km stretch of the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway and RTR flyover would be opened at one go. "A number of statutory safety tolling and other , tests are underway These tests are not only the . part of the agreement between the NHAI and the developer, but are also in the interest of the commuters," the official said. H.S. Kohli, director of developer DS Constructions, said: "We are in the final leg of the project but in the middle of conducting very crucial and mandatory tests." "It would not be in the interest of the commuters to open the RTR-Palam flyover now as traffic movement would become so slow that it would lead to traffic jams at Parade Road, RTR Road as well as the border toll plaza where work is underway," he added.
